Our venture with Dachshunds started back in 2003. On Mother's day, our daughter came up the hill with a paper bag in her hand and the bag was moving. I asked her what was in the bag. She told me just to open it. In the bag was this little spotted looking puppy. Well, I had never had any dealings with Dachshunds. Our pets had always been poodles! I asked her what kind of puppy was it? She told me the puppy was a silver dapple Doxie. Well, that little girl, who we named Gypsy, won our hearts and there has been nothing but Dachshunds for us ever since.

We decided to share our new found love and joy with other folks. Thus, Louie's Dachshunds was originated.

They are such a big part of our lives that we can't imagine being without them. Our goal is healthy, quality Doxies, with excellent conformation and temperament. We want you to be as happy with your Doxie as we were with Gypsy.
